ASAP has default SMS templates that cannot be deleted or sent manually. You can edit the information that is displayed but you are unable to remove them, or manually send, as they are system generated messages tied to specific settings and functions.
- On the Navigation menu, click Tools, and then click Communication Center
- Click the Templates tab.
- Click the Ellpisis menu against the SMS template you wish to edit
- Edit the message but do not change any text between the { and } as this is the custom content your student needs to see.
The four default SMS templates are:

| Opt In | {Organization.Name} uses ASAP to manage their reminders. Reply STOP to stop msgs for any future reminders. | When a customer opts-in to receiving messages through their phone, they will receive this message. |
| SMS HELP | ASAP Info Alerts: Reply STOP to cancel. Msg&Data Rates may apply. Msg Freq per acct setup. 8009843710 | When a customer requests for help in receiving messages through their phone, they will receive this message. |
| SMS STOP | ASAP Info Alerts: You have opted out and will no longer receive messages from this service. Reply RESUME to subscribe. 8009843710 | When a customer opts out to receiving messages through their phone, they will receive this message. |
Note: just like the email templates, if you select these to send from the command center, the dynamic content will not update and your students will the raw content of the text, i.e. {Class.Name} reminder: {Class.StartDate} {Class.StartTime} for {Participant.FirstName}
