Before rolling classes from one term to the next, make sure the following is in place:
1. Configure the holidays for the new time period. Go to Configure/Calendar
2. Create the new time period for the new classes. Go to Find/Time Periods/Add New
When you're ready to roll classes. Go to Tools/Rolling Classes.
STEP ONE
Choose the new time period
If you want to roll the students with classes, check the Also copy existing student enrollments checkbox.
If the instructors are the same for the next term, check Copy Instructors
STEP TWO
Choose the prior time period to copy the classes from and click Show Classes
Next - Select the class or classes you want to roll. You can select individually using the check boxes or all by using the Select All link.
Important Note: Only select 10-25 classes at a time to roll. Roll in small batches.
If classes have fee, you can copy the fees from the course level or the class level. Then click the Copy Selected Classes button.
Run the Class Summary Master report to confirm that the classes have rolled.
