ASA strives to make the options/values available to students in dropdown menus as clear as possible. Not all Federal mandated fields do that. Therefore ASA creates reasonably clear fields and then maps the data to the appropriate area in CASAS.
One such field is Labor Force Status. Here is a data map of the ASA fields and what is used in the data transfer to CASAS in the data export/import files.
