The Communication Center keeps a record of sent emails. With ASAP's search functionality, you can quickly locate a sent email and decide what you want to do with that email:
View a sent email
- On the Navigation menu, click Tools, and then click Communication Center.
- Click the Sent tab.
NOTE: If you are looking for an email you just sent, be aware that it could be in the Scheduled tab. When you send an email, ASAP moves the email to the Scheduled tab while communicating with our email service. Depending on the amount of emails being sent, there could be a short delay. When the message is sent, ASAP moves it to the Sent tab where you can view it. You may need to refresh your page to see this behavior.
- Locate the email you want to view. There are several ways to locate the email:
- Next to the dates, click the calendar icon, select a date range, and then click Apply.
- If you want to see emails from a specific template type, in the Template list, select the template.
- If you are looking for an email that went out to a specific student, click the magnifying glass and in the search field, type the student's name.
- If you know the subject of the email, click the magnifying glass and in the search field, type the subject, or a portion of the subject.
- To the right of the email, click the ellipsis and select View.
Resend a sent email
- On the Navigation menu, click Tools, and then click Communication Center.
- Click the Sent tab.
- Locate the email you want to resend. There are several ways to locate the email:
- Next to the dates, click the calendar icon, select a date range, and then click Apply.
- If you want to see emails from a specific template type, in the Template list, select the template.
- If you are looking for an email that went out to a specific student, click the magnifying glass and in the search field, type the student's name.
- If you know the subject of the email, click the magnifying glass and in the search field, type the subject, or a portion of the subject.
- To the right of the email, click the ellipsis and select Reset.
- Click Yes to confirm.
Delete a sent email
Deleting a sent email does not delete it from the recipient's inbox. You can use the delete function to clean out, old sent emails.
- On the Navigation menu, click Tools, and then click Communication Center.
- Click the Sent tab.
- Locate the email to delete. There are several ways to locate the email:
- Next to the dates, click the calendar icon and select a date range and click Apply.
- If you want to see emails from a specific template type, in the Template list, select the template.
- If you are looking for an email that went out to a specific student, click the magnifying glass and in the search field, type the student's name.
- If you know the subject of the email, click the magnifying glass and in the search field, type the subject, or a portion of the subject.
- To the right of the email, click the ellipsis and select Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm.
