Adding a fee and emailing a bulk set of invoices is a fairly easy process. This will allow you to sort and filter for specific invoices that you need to add a one time fee for or emailing without having to go into each individual one to perform these actions. The first step you'll need to do is to go to the Invoice report. This is found in the left nav panel under View Reports > Master Reports. From there, you'll need to go to the Invoice report found under the Financials section. We'll go over how to perform the process for each of these actions.
Adding a Fee
After pulling up the Invoice report, you'll need to select the filters that you want in order to generate the fee for these invoices. In this example, I've set it to be added for a specific location and invoice status.
Once the report was generated, I would just need to select to "Add Fee". This will bring up a pop-up window where you can put the information you want to show for this fee. In this example, I've added a Late Fee for $5. After you've completed this information, just select to "Add a fee". A confirmation window will pop-up confirming that you'll be adding this fee. Once done, the fee should be added to the invoices that were filtered.
Emailing Customers
Performing the same actions as above, you can also email the list of filtered results. All you'll need to do is select the button "Email the Filtered Invoices to Customers". Selecting this will generate a pop-up window indicating confirmation of the the emails being sent:
Invoices are sent directly without comment. This action does not redirect you to the Email Wizard. If a payment is still owed on the invoice, the "Payment Due Template" will be sent to your customers. If it's an already paid invoice, the "Payment Template" will be sent. You won't be able to add any additional comments to the email. If you need to do so, you'll need to go into the individual invoice to do so.
