If the credit card is only attached to a recurring billing schedule but not separately saved in ASAP, here is what you do:
- Go to the Student/Class detail page for the recurring billing class by going to the Student Detail page and clicking on the title of the class in the Enrollments tab.
- In the Student/Class detail page, scroll down to the Billing Schedule Info box and click on Change to Invoice next to the Billing Type. This will change the recurring billing schedule to Invoice instead of Auto Charge and remove the credit card from being attached to the class and from ASAP.
If you allow credit cards to be saved (this is configured in your org’s Preferences and allows customers to save in ASAP the credit card they are using to pay an invoice) and the credit card is saved but not attached to any recurring billing schedule, here is what you do:
- Go to the Family Account page and scroll down to the Saved Credit Card box.
- Click delete next to the credit card you want removed from the account.
If the credit card is attached to a recurring billing class and is also separately saved in ASAP, first follow steps 1 and 2 above and then steps 3 and 4. You need to do it in this order as you are not able to delete a credit card that is still attached to a recurring billing schedule.
