Before creating private lessons, the account must have subjects. A subject is any field of study, such as Acting, Piano or Swimming, which defines the private lesson content. It can be thought of as a course, except specifically for private lessons.
Create Subjects
There are two ways to create subjects for private lessons: 1) from the left navigation and 2) from the Private Lesson Builder. Both of these options are detailed below.
From the Left Navigation Menu:
1) Go to Configure in the left navigation
2) Go to Subjects
3) This will take you to the subjects page (app.asapconnected.com/subjects.aspx). On this page, you may add as many subjects as you want into the text field. Separate each subject with a comma. When finished, click “Add.”
From the PrivateLesson Form Builder:
1) Go to Private Lessons in the left navigation
2) Go to Create New Lesson
3) This will take you to the Private Lesson Builder page (app.asapconnected.com/PrivateLessonBuilder.aspx). On this page, you may add new subjects in the third question, which requests that you select a subject. Below the dropdown selection, there is a link, “Add a New Subject.” If you click it, a text field will appear which lets you add a new subject to the dropdown.
