The Lessons page houses the infrastructure of your lessons, along with some of the tools that accompany them.

Wait, what's a Subject again? And what's a Lesson?
We know its confusing but luckily, its not confusing to your students as we refer to them both as Lessons on your public site! Subjects are what your teachers teach in a one-on-one setting, like Piano, SAT Tutoring or Jazz Guitar. They are associated with teachers only (see Private Lessons > Lessons > ... menu). Lessons are like Courses, and allow you to manage Packages and individual lessons. Teachers are not directly associated with lessons (see Private Lessons > Lessons > +).

Create Subjects
You need to enter all the subjects (aka instruments) that you offer, such as Piano, Blues Guitar, Saxophone, etc.
- On the Navigation menu, click Private Lessons, and then click Lessons.
- In the ellipsis menus , select Subjects
- You can choose to have these show online, or not.
- This is where you enter all the subjects you teach in individual lessons. More info

Create Lessons
You need to create the Lesson that contains the subjects, like Piano Lessons, Guitar Lessons, Saxophone Lessons.
- On the Navigation menu, click Private Lessons, and then click Lessons.
- Click the to create a New Lesson
- Complete the information required.
- For those using the Go site, you do not need to complete description or image as these elements do not appear on your public site.
- Select the subject from your list
- Departments are optional.
- If you want to exclude this lesson from the Lesson Package option, set Show Online to No

Create Fees
Add the cost of each lesson. This requires that you have entered the Duration of lessons taught. Please follow these instructions in ASAP 3 to enter these.
- On the Navigation menu, click Private Lessons, and then click Lessons.
- In the ellipsis menus , select Fee Tiers
- Enter the cost per lesson by duration. More info

Associate teachers with the Subjects they teach
Link teachers to subjects so you can find them easily in searches and during lesson enrollments.
Individual teachers
- On the Navigation menu, click Staff.
- Hover over the teacher record to expose the ... menu at the end of each row
- Select View Details to go to the Teacher's profile page
- Click Details, then Employee Information
- Select the pencil icon to edit these options.
- Scroll down the page to the Subjects and select the subject(s) this teacher teaches.
Bulk Update Teacher Records
You can assign subjects to teacher in bulk in the Subjects pgae
- On the Navigation menu, click Private Lessons, and then click Lessons.
- In the ellipsis menus , select Subjects
- Scroll down the page to the Subject Associations table
- Here you can select a teacher and Subject(s) and click Save

Setting up your Inquiry Form (if applicable)
If you are using the Private Lesson Inquiry Form to manage potential new students, here's how to set it up
- On the Navigation menu, click Private Lessons, and then click Lessons.
- In the ellipsis menus , select Inquiry Form.
- Select the fields you want to include to gather the information on a new student. More info
